Auction Guidelines

  • Your bid number is on your meal ticket or bidder number ticket.
  • All bids must be in whole dollar amounts.
  • While every reasonable effort has been made to describe each item correctly, all items and services are sold “where is” and “as is.”
  • Payment in full online or Sunday October 23, from 1pm – 6 pm. Other arrangements made by appointment. Purchases may be made by cash or check.
  • Make checks payable to St. John Lutheran School.
  • Winning bidders not present when the silent auction closes will be notified by phone and may pick their item up in the office during school hours.
  • Items may be claimed only by showing a “paid” receipt to the Auction
  • Committee Member in charge of pick up.
  • Unless otherwise specified, dates and times are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the donor and the buyer. The buyer is responsible for being aware of exclusions, time limits, requirements, etc. stated on gift certificates, tickets, or donor forms. Tax, tip, and gratuity are not included.

Silent Auction

  1. The Silent Auction will open for bidding at 10:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m.
  2. All items in the Silent Auction have bid sheets in front of them. Bid by writing your bid number and the amount of your bid on the sheet.
  3. Thank you for respecting the starting bid price listed on each bid sheet.
  4. The closing bid circled by an Auction Committee Member constitutes the winning bid. All incorrect bids will be declared void.
  5. In the event of a dispute, a St. John Auction Committee Member will act as the final authority and shall determine the winning bidder. In the event a bid sheet is missing, the item will be pulled from the Silent Auction.

Online Live Auction Rules

Auction begins at 7:00pm.

  1. To bid for an Online Live Auction item, simply enter your bid amount in the comment section under the rain barrel photo. The opening bid on each item must be at least the minimum bid of $5.00. Each subsequent bid must follow the minimum increment of $5.00. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and voided.
  2. Once the auction is declared closed, the highest bid entered on the comment section that adheres to the designated increment shall constitute the winning bid and will so be marked. In the event of a dispute, a St. John Lutheran
  3. Church & School Executive will act as the final authority. Be advised there is an average five second delay between bidders commenting and the bid being visible to the Auctioneer and audience.
  4. The winning bidder will be contacted, via Facebook message, to arrange payment via Kindrid and to arrange pick up of items. (Pick up only, we cannot deliver.)
  5. Payment for items purchased must be made in full. Kindrid, the online giving app, will be used to collect payment. Receipts will be available upon request.
  6. Any item unclaimed within 2 days will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold.
  7. By bidding in the Online Live Auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules. St. John Lutheran Church & School reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the Online Live Auction. Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued. All items are “as is”.
  8. St. John Lutheran Church & School provides no guarantees, warranties or servicing of auction items and is not liable for any personal injury or damage to property that may result from the use of the item or service sold.
